Tunes for Tykes is a play-along, sing-along, and dance along, for ages 6 months to one year. Complete with new songs and familiar favorites, Brian leads the class with guitar in tow, and instruments to share!

Like many others, I found Pilates because of an injury.
I was born with a spinal defect called spondylolisthesis, a congenital spinal defect that causes the spinal column to shift and the discs between the bones to degenerate.
When I was a teenager I loved running but my spine didn't.
The impact of running sped up the degeneration of my spine. When I was 19 I had surgery to stabilize my spine. It was thanks to my first surgery that I found Contrology. I was no longer able to run and needed to find an activity that challenged me both mentally and physically, and Pilates was it.
After practicing Pilates since 2000, I decided to do a mat certification in 2008 at Core Pilates NYC to help improve my own practice and started teaching friends for the fun of it. I quickly fell in love with teaching people all the ways Contrology makes lives better. Always being concerned with helping others, I was pursuing an MSW when I realized that, albeit in a different manner, I could improve peoples' quality of life through Pilates.
Shortly thereafter, I earned my comprehensive certification through Romana's Pilates.
I stay true to my classical training and the classical repertoire. I teach Pilates as a system, working within the traditional structure, addressing the needs and wants of each person's body.
I am here to help you be stronger, feel better, exceed your own expectations, believe in yourself and your body, and yes, look better too.

ABOUT LIZZY: Elizabeth comes from a life long-long pursuit of fitness and Holistic Nutrition. Her professional career as a full-time production Fit Model led her to her true passion, functional movement and Nutrition. After discovering the positive effects that proper nutrition, Yoga, Pilates, and Fascia release had on keeping her body balanced, she decided to become a Health Coach and Fitness instructor. Elizabeth likes to fuse yoga, circuit training, and fascia release into her Pilates class for a balanced mind/body workout and unique experience. She is certified in Vinyasa Yoga, Basi certified for Pilates, and an IIN garduate. When not teaching or Fitting you can see her walking her Beagle/Pitbull Darla around Clinton Hill or shopping local Farmers Markets or Health Food stores for new products and recipes.
