Teranga Flower Farm is a sustainable flower farm and floral design studio in Stamford, NY. Their goal is to share the joy of beautiful, fresh, sustainably grown flowers in NYC.
Owner Dieynaba is a 29 year old woman from Senegal. She moved to NYC in 2013 with two suitcases and big dreams. As the typical young adult living in NYC, Dieynaba explored many careers, including being a model, a painter, a nanny, a hostess, and a prep cook. But nothing has brought her more joy than gardening!
Dieynaba started growing vegetables and flowers in three tiny urban gardens, totaling 1/10 of an acre, and in May 2021 she found a six acre farm in Stamford, NY. She considers herself very lucky to be able to take advantage of these two very different growing zones, and she learned so much during her first year flower farming. In 2022, Dieynaba will be exclusively growing at her farm in Stamford.
