We welcome Amanda Morales to our beautiful garden for a lesson in natural dyeing, this time with a focus on indigo!

May 27th from 3-5.

In this two hour workshop you will learn various techniques to achieve traditional indigo shibori patterns by folding and scrunching your fabric. You will leave with a cotton tea towel!

You will also gain some knowledge about natural dyeing and ways to continue your practice at home, both with indigo and with other natural dyes. Come hang out with us in the garden and enjoy the beauty of nature and wild color!

For this indigo-focused workshop, you can bring one personal item to add to the dye vat. This must be smaller than a pillowcase - so tees, small totes, boxers, slip dresses are all ok. Must be natural fibers -- cotton is best, then linen, silk, wool.
