Selenite is named after the Greek Goddess of the Moon, Selene.  It has an iridescent appearance that looks as though it is from the moon. Selenite is a strong cleansing stone - it can even cleanse other crystals. It is known for connecting to the third eye, crown, and Etheric chakras.
